Posted by Matt Bruce at March 10, 2008 12:15 PMSo I was trying to think if there any other (hypothetical) political scandal that would bring me greater joy. I couldn't think of one. Let's count the ways:
1. It involves a Democrat, and one seen as a rising star within the party
2. It doesn't (so far) involve corruption and thus harm the public/taxpayer
3. It involves what I think of as a victimless crime, but one I strongly disapprove of morally (b/c it violates his wedding vows)
4. It involves the exact sort of thing he railed against previously
5. It happened to a guy whose ego and general assholeishness stood out even amongst other politicians, no mean feat
