Maybe I'm just being eccentric here (is it the Milton Bradley in me?) but it's disrespectful for this "Gazzellioni" user, or anyone else who doesn't know Jason Kidd personally, to address him by first name only. (It pains me that one of the worst offenders here is Oakland A's GM Billy Beane.)

Some sort of nickname or derogatory name (not sure if a-hole or butthead or the like would get through the message board censoring system, assuming it has one)? Fans these days know so much about their favorite players that it's almost like they have a personal relationship with them, so it's natural to call them by their first names. If anything, I find the poster's tone to be more respectful than if he/she had written "Kidd, when you asked to be traded ..."
