The Top 10 Rap Songs White People Love

It's funny because it's true.

This is astonishingly on the mark, aside from my never having heard of #10 before. (I was going to take issue with #5 until I played the video and matched the title to the song.)

What Other People Say

A pretty good list.

With regard to #10 ("I Got a Man" by Positive K), the thing that I always found odd about that song is that Positive K is a male rapper, despite the song title. No, this isn't a gay-themed song. Rather, a female rapper whose name I don't know is the one saying "I got a man" to which P.K. responds, "What's your man got to do with me?"

In other words, the credited artist does not take the role of the narrator who can be identified with the "I" of the title. I can't think of a lot of other songs that meet that description.

Any of the Honorable Mentions could take the place of #10, but the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" should be top-10 material and doesn't even make their cut.

(Uncorroborated) correction: Positive K does both voices in IGaM.

Despite this (?), it's a perfect karaoke duet, if only one of the usual places had it in their catalog.
