I realized last night that I'd previously never seen Treehouse of Horror IX.
Fun facts about the start of Season 10:
"Lard of the Dance" originally aired in August, almost a month before the official season premiere. Then new episodes September 20 and 27 and almost a month of baseball playoff-driven hiatus.
(Before looking it up I'd wondered why Treehouse wasn't the first new episode of the season, as has often been the case during Fox's baseball contract.)
You may not have realized just how soon the 1998 World Series ended relative to other recent Series: The season started a bit sooner than usual (Opening Day: March 31!) and the Yankees swept the Padres.
Season 10 episodes I think I've never seen (but will have seen by a few days from now):
Lisa Gets an A
Homer Simpson in: "Kidney Trouble"
Marge Simpson in: "Screaming Yellow Honkers"
Thirty Minutes Over Tokyo
I seem to have seen every episode of Season 11, though some of them only once.
Season 12 unseens(?):
Treehouse of Horror XI
The Great Money Caper
Day of the Jackanapes
New Kids on the Blecch
Bye Bye Nerdie
Simpson Safari
Children of a Lesser Clod
From season 13 onward probably a bunch I haven't caught yet.
Posted by Matt Bruce at August 9, 2007 12:00 PMSeason 10 is by no means a quality season, but Screaming Yellow Honkers and Thirty Minutes are two of the best episodes in that season and both excellent episodes. On the flipside, I personally hate Kidney Trouble and Lisa Gets an A is also subpar (though at least the B-plot is good).
