Now, no matter what any given administration does there are going to be people who can't take it at face value and look for the evil motive in anything. That said: Given that the bomb scare got this kind of reaction after everything else that's happened, go back in time to the infamous August 2001 "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S. Briefing."
What exactly was it that we'd have Bush do in hindsight there?
