No moment of silence is necessary for those people themselves, though it's funny how the manner in which an entity is newsworthy changes over time. For five seconds I intended to rework the question with 2006 events and resubmit, except that the aforementioned dudes make horrible quiz answers (why would anyone bother to remember their names?) and I'm glad they shall rot in obscurity.
Posted by Matt Bruce at February 20, 2006 10:04 PMI probably wouldn't write a question on Rantissi (to the shock of some), but Yassin should be a memorable person who will certainly be mentioned as a tossup clue here and there, so he should be a gettable answer. I could see him as a credible bonus part on assassinations in the region along with Yitzhak Rabin and Count Bernadotte, to give away a possible bonus.
