Does your local paper get her column? Two things strike me:
1. Her answers always seem so obviously right (even if the right answer wasn't initially obvious). On that score she blows Slate's "Dear Prudence" and the NY Times (erstwhile Slate) ethics guy whose name I can't think of out of the water.
2. A surprising % of her answers come down to the fact that one of the rudest things you can do is visibly take offense at someone else's supposed rudeness.
Dear Abby by contrast is demonstrably, painfully wrong ridiculously often.
