The first comment on this post is astonishingly insightful, although I'm not sure whether it's on purpose. If I ever suddenly cut my on-line presence to close to zero, it will be from taking it to heart.

Posted by Matt Bruce at January 8, 2005 04:15 PMI am not sure this observation is true at all. The people I know with rich online lives mostly have good jobs, or at least, jobs that leave them free to surf the Web a lot.
I don't meet these people in real life very often so it would be difficult for me to judge the status of their marriages.
