Trivia Quote Of The Day

As sent to me in an e-mail, Saturday, January 31, 2004, 22:56:22 -0800 (PST) [whatever that means; I forget whether Yahoo! servers are on PST or GMT].

"It would be pretty cool to break the old 5-day limit, but I have to admit, I am keeping my expectations a little lower."

Zero points for identifying who wrote this and about what.

What Other People Say

It's a good thing the Washington Post blew this story early today with a tongue-in-cheek "this was leaked to us TV writers by a source who would want you to watch, so we'll play along and write it so you do" piece, or you'd have lots of pissed off readers on your hands.

(Not going further, since it's probably still early enough somewhere that the news hasn't reached the whole country.)

Try the rest of the world.

My guess is G.W Bush. And who ever knows what he talks about :/

Matt,

So when's your appearance?

Posted by: Dave at December 1, 2004 07:39 AM

With all due respect, I will never be interviewing you for anything again.

Yeah, because that nugget wouldn't have been a useful lead for my Jennings column ...

Cooch: Mea culpa. As of summer, I'd honestly forgotten about that particular e-mail. Found it yesterday while trying to look a phone number up.
